Some sweet day I’m a goin’ home! I’ll fly away! Wow! What a day that will be.
I have hope. Anyone on earth can have hope and joy everyday – through Jesus. He carries me. He is “the lifter of my soul.”
What about you? Have you drawn close to God? Whoever you are, no matter what you’ve done with the privilege of your existence – today there is hope for you in Jesus.
The Bible says that Christ Jesus created you, and died on a cruel cross – for you. Dying and rising up from the dead – He provided a legal way for us all to be forgiven and given life eternal. The choice is ours to make.
Excerpt from… Lamentations 3:verses 20-26
Amplified Bible (AMP)
20 My soul continually … is bowed down within me.
21 But this I call to mind,
Therefore I have hope.
22 It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindnesses
that we are not consumed,
Because His [tender] compassions
never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
Great and beyond measure
is Your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,”
says my soul;
“Therefore I have hope in Him
and wait expectantly for Him.”
25 The Lord is good
to those who wait [confidently] for Him,
To those who seek Him
[on the authority of God’s word].
26 It is good that one waits quietly
Don’t give up on life. Jesus makes all things brand new here on earth (2 Corinthians 5: verse 17). I have peace and hope because I put my faith in Him. That is what He requires.
13 No one has gone up into heaven, but there is One who came down from heaven, the Son of Man [Himself—whose home is in heaven]. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the [bronze] serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross], 15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life [after physical death, and will actually live forever].
16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because [b]he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him].
19 This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the [c]darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned.
21 But whoever practices truth [and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”

John 3:16 Jesus, God’s only Son, the One who is truly unique, the only one of His kind.
John 3:18 The Greek refers to an unsaved person who has made the decision not to believe in the Son, Jesus Christ, that is, not to accept the salvation offered by the Son and commit to follow Him. Such a person stands condemned by God unless he changes his mind.
