You hear it all the time these days: What difference does it make? “All roads lead to Rome”… and so do all religions lead to God. But the Bible says otherwise. The Bible says we need to make a decision: “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.”
“If it is unacceptable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15
As we are seeing these days, there is a world of difference between Christ and Mohammed, between following the teachings of Christ – and following the teachings of Mohammed. Choosing Christ takes you up a very different pathway and you end-up very far from where the pathway of Islam takes you down.
And the same is true with all other religions. It does make a difference – an eternity of difference. Are you following Christ?
Christianity teaches:
Christ said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except by Me.”
You must be born again
The Bible is the Word of God to man.
I have been saved by grace, changed into a new creature, an eternal son of God. (2 Cor. 5:17)
Jesus is God in the flesh of a man.
God is a loving Father who gave His only Son to be the sacrifice for our sins.
Heaven is for those forgiven by God through faith in Jesus the promised Messiah. |
The other side teaches:
You must follow Mohamed.
Follow Mohamed or we will kill you.
The Koran is to be followed.
Muslims are saved by works, and can lose all if they are disobedient.
Jesus is merely a prophet, not God in the flesh.
Allah is not loving and calls for the slaughter of all who reject Islam.
Paradise is for those who swear allegiance to Allah. |
Follow Jesus. He is God. All others will lead you away from Creator God. Don’t go to the dark side.
